This board is meant for friendly and informal discussions.It may not be used for commercial purposes.
Be considerate when replying to other's postings. Personal attacks are counter-productive. Let's maintain an encouraging atmosphere in our virtual discussion.
The administrators do not assume any responsibility for message content, nor does Hard of Hearing Advocates. The list administrators reserve the right to deny access to abusive users. Those who repeatedly post offensive or inflammatory messages may lose their posting rights.
This message board currently supports an optional registration policy. This is only possible if members follow these guidelines. If repeated abuses occur, it may become necessary to consider requiring registration for posting. Please report any suspected abuse to abuse@hohadvocates.org.
General Posting Guidelines
- Change the subject line if you change the topic.
- When replying, delete unneccessary text from the original message.
- Avoid wandering off-topic. People are here to discuss hard of hearing concerns.
- Don't monopolize the board. This is a forum for discussion, not monologues.
- Don't use all caps in your post. All caps are the equivalent of shouting.
Commercial and Open Selling
- Vendor advertising is absolutely prohibited. While members are free to post any information and links about items they think may be of value to others, no one may post anything to the group that would provide a financial gain to the person posting. Posting by business professionals seeking sales or profit are expressly prohibited.
- Any person posting in this forum is presumed to be speaking solely and exclusively as an individual. Each participant is responsible for any and all statements he or she makes within any message.
- Avoid posting specific dollar amounts for what vendors charge for various professional services.

- A unique email address is required for registration.
- If you have problems receiving your password via email, please ensure that feedback@hohadvocates.org is not marked as spam by your email client.
- Your email address will not be displayed along with your post.
- When registering, your posting username need not be your real name.
- Your email will not be shared with any third party.
